         Testimony

I was so deeply inspired by James Fortune's testimony & song "I Trust You" that I decided to create my own music video/short to testify myself!  I've had such a huge success so far & so much support from my community & the wonderful actors who came through to make it happen!  Not to mention I was able to talk with James Fortune himself about the video & he approves! We have now finished filming & I am in post-production.  I can't wait to show the results!

                  PAST SHOWS

One of the first shows I'd ever directed I called..

"Talent Extravaganza"

I was a student at a local technical college and was asked to coordinate a performance as everyone knew I was an actress.  It turned into something more than I expected.  Especially since I planned it in  ONLY TWO DAYS!  We had at least 100 people show out & about 12 performers showing off their talents!  That's when I knew "Director" was another one of my many callings!

If you haven't seen "The Skin I'm In"  you are missing out!  I've performed this original monologue over 30X's!

I performed it at Berea College, The Roots and Heritage Festival, and The New Faces Showcase, just to name a few!

It never fails, when it's over, someone always asks me if I can perform it at their event!  It's a very powerful act and always brings the audience to tears!

Another character I love to portray...

I just call her "Fat Lady"!

I get to be my crazy goofy side and

I have so much fun with it!

We had all kinds of talent in this show.  There was singing, dancing, piano playing... and so much more!

I'm a very serious director and performing artist and I only like to work with people who are as passionate about it as I am.  That's why I make great shows!  I couldn't do it without my STARS!

If you would like to have a performance take place at your event or are in need of a director, assistant director, or program coordinator... please email me at vitelle@live.com

        "Let's Make It Happen"

My biggest and best show to date!  I produced, directed and starred in this talent showcase!  The idea was to show each of the talents I posses by acting, modeling, singing, dancing, reciting my poetry, choreography, etc.

PRESS RELEASE: "Let's Make It Happen" was held Friday June 6th and Saturday June 7th 2008!  The show included a "Mini Fashion Show", Monologues, Comedy Improve Sketch of an American Idol Spoof, and a grand finally Disney Musical Segment!  There was also poetry, dance, and so much more!  If you missed this show you missed out!

Why did I decide to do this?  Why did I take on such a big responsibility?  Why did I put my own dreams on hold to take the time to inspire and encourage others and their dreams even when it seemed that this task was impossible?

I wanted to ENCOURAGE people!  After my dreams were set in stone I felt such a relief and accomplishment that I wanted everyone to have the experience in feeling!

I wanted to increase CONFIDENCE and remind everyone that it doesn't take beauty but determination, tenacity, and hard work!

I wanted to INSPIRE others that their dreams could come true because I have seen the discouragement in the face of a child who says she wants to be a supermodel!

I wanted to install a HOPE in someone that I feel the world has taken away!

I wanted to AMAZE everyone and show them exactly what is possible if one puts their mind to it!  ANYTHING!

Most of all I felt a calling... that this was something that needed to be done and I stepped forward and said "Father... here am I".

I asked God to help me change the world and he gave me the first step!

I can only imagine the many things still to come...

                         Auditions

We had several auditions and in just two days acquired a cast of about 30 people.  Over the month of production which proved to be strenuous and exhausting, several people resigned or where just no longer able to do the show.

This fact brings me to another point I wanted to make with my show, and that is, "It takes hard work and dedication to make any of your dreams come true!  The bigger your dream the harder it will be to reach and you can't just give up as soon as it starts to get difficult!  Remember the race is not given to the swift nor the strong but to the one who endures!"

Throughout the course of our show we had two vehicles break down, one get towed during rehearsal, someone's house burned down, someone's kid cut their gum open, my kid fell down the steps at the theater and on a separate occasion busted his head at daycare, and I could go on forever about the money issues that kept coming up with the rental of the theater and all the information they failed to give me until the last minute.  It seemed that everything was going wrong for everyone in the cast but it only proved to me that I was doing something right!

Even up until the night of the show, when the crowd didn't turn out as big as we had hoped and the sound and lights seemed to keep having problems... by the end of the second night I knew that God was proud of me.  I had done what he asked and endured till the end, even when it seemed impossible.  I produced, directed, and performed in an amazing show in only ONE MONTH!  I may never know how many lives where changed because of this event or exactly what difference this show made, but I've seen and heard from a few and I know that my work was not in vain!

  Behind the Scenes at Rehearsal

The cast and crew worked very hard to make this show one that Lexington will remember for years to come!

Here is a sneak peak into some of our rehearsals!

Special Thanks to Jerry Williams!  The best camera man ever!

These folks have got to be the best cast and crew anyone could ever ask for!  We always had a good time while working hard to get the job done!  The cast party was the best one ever as well!  We watched the footage from the show, danced, and then hung out in the pool and jacuzzi!

The entire cast helped me look forward to what's ahead of me in my life and I know I was an inspiration to them as well!

Advertising

We put together several commercials to advertise for our show!
This was one of them that showed the clothing that would be featured!
